The Mardi Himal trail is highly popular among locals and Nepalese nationwide. This newly developed route is sought after for its stunning views and accessibility, with various route options available. Starting from Pokhara, our chosen route leads through authentic Gurung settlements, rainforests, alpine cloud forests, and scenic ridgelines, offering constant mountain vistas. This trek serves as a fantastic introduction to Nepal's mountains or is ideal for those with limited time, lasting just over a week. Trekkers get up close to Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Annapurna I, and Mardi Himal. The trail meanders through ancient rhododendron forests until reaching an elevation of around 3,300m, where the landscape dramatically changes, providing incredible views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. With its spectacular views of the Annapurna Range, it's no wonder this trail has already become a classic trail, amongst the other most popular modern routes.
